The WCG consultant will support your core testing team through all three phases of testing: Functional Testing, Integrated Testing, and User Acceptance Testing.
Functional Testing will focus on testing core system functionality. At this stage, all system configuration will be taking place and the WCG consultant will be working closely with the vendor consultants to intertwine your organization’s specific requirements. All issues, configuration requests, system defects, and bugs will be entered into the issue tracking tool and constantly updated by the WCG consultant.
Integrated Testing will focus on testing the client-specific process flows. The WCG consultant will support the client team in identifying the unique processes as well as the one-off variances discovered and documented throughout functional testing. During this stage, the focus will be on solidifying the core team’s system and process knowledge while also encouraging a transfer of ownership as we approach the training phase. WCG will support the identified client-side testing lead to help in directing, organizing, and tracking all testing efforts. Integrated testing will not be deemed complete until all process flows are successfully tested and results match the client’s expectations.
User Acceptance Testing will focus on mirroring day-to-day operations and will test real life processes from beginning to end. WCG will build the UAT testing plan, organize the processes and batches to be run, and lead in the comparative analysis to ensure that the test system results match the current system results.
